Day 1 — Istanbul – Edinburgh

Please be at Istanbul Airport’s international departures terminal at 04:10. After check-in, baggage and boarding formalities, depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK1343 at 07:10, arriving in Edinburgh at 09:35 local time. Meet our private vehicle for sightseeing. Our Edinburgh sightseeing includes the Royal Mile, Princes Street, the university buildings, Greyfriars Bobby, St Giles’ Cathedral, Calton Hill and the Leith waterfront, home to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Visit Edinburgh Castle (admission included), with its National War Museum, St Margaret’s Chapel, Crown Jewels, Royal Palace rooms and Great Hall. Transfer to the hotel, check in and enjoy free time. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 2 — Edinburgh – Glasgow

Breakfast included

After breakfast, depart for Glasgow. Enjoy a panoramic view of Blackness Castle, the scenery of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, and the Kelpies, the enormous horse-head sculptures. Visit Stirling Castle and stop for lunch en route. Arrive in Glasgow in the afternoon. Our Glasgow sightseeing includes the University of Glasgow, the River Kelvin, Glasgow Cathedral, Merchant Square and Buchanan Street. Check in at the hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight in Glasgow.

Day 3 — Glasgow – Windermere – Manchester

Breakfast included

After breakfast, depart for Windermere. Travel to Windermere in the Lake District, England’s largest national park. This mountainous region, home to England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, offers beautiful lakes, valleys and spectacular scenery. Continue the journey, with an opportunity to taste world-famous Scotch whiskies at whisky cellars en route. Proceed to Manchester for a city tour and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Manchester.

Day 4 — Manchester – Liverpool – Chester – Birmingham

Breakfast included

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Liverpool. Explore Liverpool, including panoramic views of Anfield stadium, the theatre, Liverpool Cathedral, St George’s Hall, Albert Dock and the River Mersey. See pubs associated with the Beatles’ early performances, along with well-known monuments and buildings, with opportunities for photographs. Continue to Chester, the historic county town of Cheshire in north-west England, known for its distinctive English architecture. After the visit, continue to Birmingham and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Birmingham.

Day 5 — Birmingham – Bath – Oxford – Windsor – London

Breakfast included

After breakfast, leave the hotel for Bath. In Bath, famous for its Roman baths, sights include Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent. Explore Oxford, the university city associated with Harry Potter filming locations. See the Radcliffe Camera, Bridge of Sighs, Sheldonian Theatre and Bodleian Library. Continue to Windsor, home to one of the royal residences, for panoramic views of the town and castle. End the day in London. Overnight in London.

Day 6 — London

Breakfast included

After breakfast, begin a full-day London tour. Our panoramic London sightseeing takes in Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, the River Thames, Buckingham Palace, the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Nelson’s Column, the National Gallery and Piccadilly Circus. After a lunch break, continue to Greenwich. Visit Greenwich, associated with the Prime Meridian (0° longitude), which divides the eastern and western hemispheres. A popular London retreat, it was an important royal centre under the Tudors in the 16th century. See the historic Cutty Sark, a beautiful park, an Ottoman cannon and the National Maritime Museum before boarding our boat. A one-hour Thames cruise offers views of London’s riverside landmarks. On our city walk, explore Oxford Street, Soho, Chinatown and Piccadilly Circus. Enjoy free time to relax after the tour. Overnight in London.

Day 7 — London – Istanbul

Breakfast included

After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore London’s museums, art galleries, shopping centres and second-hand shops, or join the optional Bicester Village Outlet excursion arranged by your guide at an additional cost. This shopping village offers a wide selection of luxury brands at discounted prices. In the late afternoon, transfer to London airport. Depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1984 at 22:25. Overnight on board.

Day 8 — Arrival in Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul at 04:15 local time. End of the tour.
